Actlator gives museums their own digital content layer. Add new stories, images, objects, routes and visitor contributions without rebuilding the system or ordering every update from a software vendor.
Pilot in Nurmes Museum
The first Actlator Museum pilot is currently being developed in collaboration with Nurmes Museum in Finland. The pilot explores how digital layers, visitor participation and memory maps can enrich museum experiences.
A living digital layer for a museum exhibition
The Nurmes pilot focuses on the Alma Pääkkönen exhibition and explores how Actlator can bring additional stories, visitor participation and local memories into the museum experience.
Pilot in Pielinen Museum
Actlator has also been developed for the Olli Martikainen exhibition in Lieksa. In this case, the digital layer expands the physical exhibition with extended artwork information, biographical sections, additional materials, and works beyond the exhibition itself.
